Through case-based learning, participants will enhance their clinical decision-making skills, learning to assess, diagnose,  and plan pediatric cases & appropriate treatments for all levels of complexity.

The course covers a range of topics, from managing anxiety and fear to handling more complex behavioral challenges. Gain knowledge on communication techniques, positive reinforcement, and desensitization methods, to ensure a stress-free environment for young patients.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of various caries prevention modalities, like fluoride, sealants, dietary and hygiene counseling. Identify caries risk status and implement appropriate preventive strategies tailored to individual patient needs, to reduce the incidence and progress of dental caries.

Learn to implement minimally invasive procedures in pediatric dentistry, such as silver diamine fluoride (SDF) application, interim therapeutic restorations(ITR), and Hall Crown technique. Apply these techniques to manage uncooperative patients and provide treatment in young patients.

Gain expertise in performing Class II restorations in primary molars. Workshops will provide hands-on experience of the cavity preparation, material selection, and placement technique, to ensure optimal results for young patients.

Participants will delve into the intricacies of pulpotomies, understanding the indications, steps involved, and variations based on patient age and tooth type. Hands-on sessions will provide practical experience in performing pulpotomies on simulated cases.

Gain confidence in the bread and butter of pediatric restorative dentistry by mastering the steps of preparing, selecting, fitting, and cementing stainless steel crowns. Hone your skills with practical exercises that involve crown preparation and placement on typodonts.

Understand the importance of space maintainers in pediatric dentistry. Participants will learn how to select, construct, and place both chair-side & lab fabricated space maintainers to preserve proper dental arch development.

Throughout the workshop, we’ll dive into real pediatric cases together as a group. These in-depth discussions are designed to help you sharpen your diagnostic thinking, explore treatment planning options, and learn from different perspectives in a supportive, interactive setting.
